Vision. A future where First Nations, Inuit and Métis peoples enjoy full and equitable access to the conditions that create good health — including culture, language, land and resources, social justice and respectful health services.

Mission. Provide accessible, culturally safe and medically appropriate virtual care for self‑identifying Indigenous people in Alberta and their families.

Our Story

  • AIVCC was created to close gaps in access by offering timely, culturally‑safe virtual care across Alberta 
  • We work alongside Indigenous organizations and local providers so that care is coordinated and trustworthy for patients and families.

Partners

We collaborate with Indigenous organizations, healthcare providers, government funders and technology partners to ensure care is timely, culturally‑sensitive and medically appropriate.

What We Do

Mental Health Services

  • Culturally safe counselling for adults & adolescents (13+)
  • Support for stress, anxiety, depression, grief, trauma‑informed care
  • Navigation to local and Indigenous supports as needed

Virtual Doctor Visits

  • Phone or secure video — your choice
  • Prescriptions/renewals, lab & imaging requisitions, medical notes
  • Follow‑up plan and results review

Family & Community Care

  • Primary care with a focus on prevention and family health
  • Chronic condition support and self‑management coaching
  • Care plans tailored to your goals
