Dr. Nadia Salvaterra is a white settler on Treaty 6 land. She studied medicine at McMaster
University and completed her Family Medicine training at the University of Ottawa. After completing her residency, Dr. Salvaterra practiced full-scope family medicine including obstetrics, anesthesia and emergency medicine, in Nunavut and the Northwest Territories for 10 years. She recently moved to Edmonton where she lives with her partner and young children.
Dr. Salvaterra has many clinical interests and is also passionate about medical leadership. She currently serves as the Department Head of Family Medicine for AHS in Edmonton.
